TeeMee is a live paste & share room for presenters, classrooms, and workshops. These terms explain what you can do with it, what we promise (and don’t), and how we handle the text, links, and files you drop in.
TeeMee is still in beta. It works, but edges are being sanded. Everything here is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. Please don’t rely on it for anything business-critical yet.
TeeMee is a lightweight paste-and-share room. A presenter opens a session, a short four-word URL appears on screen, and anyone in the room can send text, links, and files into the live feed from their phone or laptop — no install, and for most uses no account.
The service is operated by Bia Electric Ltd (a company registered in England & Wales). “TeeMee”, “we”, and “us” in these terms mean Bia Electric Ltd; “you” means the person using TeeMee.
You must be at least 16 years old to use TeeMee on your own. If you are under 16, you may only use TeeMee with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or responsible adult (for example, a teacher running a classroom session) who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
TeeMee is designed for use in workshops, classrooms, and professional events. If you’re running a session with under-16s, you’re responsible for making sure it’s appropriate to do so.
There are two ways to use TeeMee:
Nothing about signing in is required to paste text, share links, or upload files in a session. You can always close the tab and walk away.
TeeMee is for business, educational, and professional-event use. By using it you agree not to use TeeMee for any other purpose, and not to post content that is:
We may remove content, end a session, or block access to TeeMee if content breaches these rules — and we may do so without notice where the content is clearly illegal or harmful.
You own what you paste. The text, links, and files you share on TeeMee remain yours (or the property of whoever you’re sharing on behalf of — your employer, client, or school).
You grant us a narrow, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, transmit, and display that content for the sole purpose of running your session. We don’t use it to train AI models. We don’t publish it elsewhere. We don’t analyse its contents to build a profile of you. The licence ends when the session data is deleted (see section 6).
TeeMee sessions are ephemeral by default. Messages, pasted links, and uploaded files are deleted two hours after the final message in a session. No activity for two hours → the session and its contents are purged.
Signed-in users may see slightly longer retention for features they explicitly save (for example, an exported summary). Where that happens, the retention is shown in the feature itself.
TeeMee includes a Chatham House mode that blurs content client-side and signals to participants that what’s said in the session shouldn’t be attributed or shared externally.
Chatham House mode is a social convention, not a technical guarantee. It’s a signal to everyone in the room that the usual rule applies — ideas can leave the room, attribution and verbatim quotes cannot. We do not police it. We can’t stop a determined participant from taking a screenshot or copying text, and we accept no liability if they do.
We use two classes of cookie:
We do not load advertising pixels or cross-site marketing trackers on TeeMee.
TeeMee is built on a handful of trusted providers. When you use TeeMee, some of your data is processed by them on our behalf. Their own privacy policies and terms of service apply in addition to these terms whenever your data is handled by them.
Always active — used on every TeeMee session:
| Provider | Purpose | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Application hosting, edge network, and file storage (Vercel Blob) | US / EU edge |

| Sentry | Error and performance monitoring (bug reports, stack traces) | US / EU |
| Statsig | Product analytics, feature flags, and session telemetry | US |
Only when you sign in or use specific features:
| Provider | Used when | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC | You choose “Sign in with Google” | Global |

| OpenAI, LLC | You use an AI feature powered by GPT models | US |
| Deepgram | You use a speech-to-text feature | US |
| Replicate | You use an AI feature hosted on Replicate | US |
We may change sub-processors as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version of these terms (see section 12).
TeeMee is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions, and representations — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, quality, uptime, availability, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for any loss of profits, business, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of (or inability to use) TeeMee. This includes any acts or omissions of the sub-processors listed in section 9.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where you use TeeMee as a consumer.
Most TeeMee use is anonymous, so there is no account to delete. Walk away from a session and your content is purged on the schedule in section 6.
If you signed in with Google, your account lives on the wider Bia Electric platform, not on TeeMee specifically. You can request deletion of that account by contacting us (see section 14), and we’ll act on it in line with your UK GDPR rights.
We may update these terms as TeeMee evolves — new features, new sub-processors, clearer wording. When we do, we’ll update the Effective date at the top and, for material changes, flag it in-product before the change takes effect.
Continuing to use TeeMee after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you don’t, stop using it.
If something goes wrong, talk to us first. Reach out via the contact route in section 14 and we’ll do our best to sort it out within 30 days.
If we can’t resolve it that way, these terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of TeeMee.
The best way to reach us about TeeMee — including privacy requests, account deletion, and reporting abuse — is through the contact form on the Bia Electric platform.
